Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check, or cashiers check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid must be furnished by each Bidder as required by the Contract Documents. Minority and womens business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to inquire about potential subcontracting opportunities and equipment, material, and/or supply needs. Any contract awarded under this invitation for bids is expected to be funded by anticipated funds from the ARPA Mississippi Municipality & County Water Infrastructure Grant (MCWI). This procurement is subject to all applicable sections of the Mississippi Code of 1972, as they apply to local governments, in accordance with MCWI Program Regulations. Compliance with applicable sections of the US Treasury State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds Compliance and Reporting Guidance and related Uniform Guidance provisions is mandatory.
