Separate sealed bids are requested for the construction of installation of an AMR system in Fayette, MS. Plans, specifications, and contract documents are available for examination at the office of Heflin Engineering. The BID SCHEDULE can be examined at the Mississippi APEX Accelerator Program. Bidding documents must be obtained from the specified website, and the costs are non-refundable. Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check, or cashier's check equal to five percent of the bid amount must be furnished by each bidder. Minority and women's business enterprises are encouraged to bid and seek subcontracting opportunities. Contracts are expected to be funded in whole or in part by anticipated funds from the ARPA Mississippi Municipality & County Water Infrastructure Grant (MCWI). This procurement is subject to the applicable sections of the Mississippi Code of 1972 and federal compliance guidance. The City of Fayette is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and all bidders will have full opportunity to submit bids and will not face discrimination based on protected status. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to hold bids for up to sixty days to award the contract to the lowest and best bid.
