Separate sealed bids are requested for the purchase of materials and supplies for an automatic meter reading (AMR) system in Fayette, MS. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier’s check equal to five percent (5%) of the bid amount is required. Minority and women’s business enterprises are encouraged to bid and explore subcontracting or supply opportunities. The procurement is subject to compliance with all applicable sections of the Mississippi Code of 1972, as adapted for local governments according to MCWI program regulations, and pertinent federal uniform guidance requirements. The City of Fayette reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities, and hold bids for examination for up to sixty days to award to the lowest and best bid that complies with the plans and specifications. All bidding documents must be obtained via the designated website and the charges are non-refundable.
