Reference Number 0000399837 The Department of Facilities, Fleet and Emergency Support Services of Douglas County Government, hereinafter referred to as the "County" and also as the "Owner", respectfully requests responses from responsible and highly qualified companies for the provision of Architectural Design Services for the Zebulon Regional Sports Complex. The Zebulon Regional Sports Complex aims to become a cornerstone of youth and adult athletics in Douglas County and the Rocky Mountain region. The facility will promote accessibility, excellence, and leadership through sports while offering a welcoming, safe, and state-of-the-art environment for training, tournaments, and community engagement. The goal of the County, through this RFQ/P, is to identify an Architect to complete the design of the Zebulon Regional Sports Complex. The successful design team will share the vision of creating a best-in-class facility for the Douglas County community. The County seeks proposals that represent a demonstrated ability to bring cost-effective strategies to achieve an affordable, high-quality outcome. If the County proceeds with a Design-Build agreement as a result of the RFQ/P GC and/or Developer process, the GC and Architect services are solicited separately. Upon the final selection of the GC, the GC will be instrumental in the Architect's selection process. The GC will then contract directly with the selected architect for the project to form the Design-Build team under a Design-Build agreement. In the design-build environment, the project team will work with the Owner and Owner's Representative to outline design parameters and discuss ways to determine the best approach for successfully and efficiently completing this project. It is the County's intent to execute a single Design-Build contract after the GC and Architect design-build team has been established through a qualification and a fee-based selection process.
