Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Richmond, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Construction of a 0.30 MGD prefabricated steel basin wastewater treatment plant. Includes all site work, including crushed concrete drive and foundations, asphalt driveway, storm sewer, swales, inlets, concrete pads, fencing, and all electrical controls, wiring, and conduit necessary for a complete system. The deadline to ask questions is 12/01/2025 at 2:00 PM CT Each bid must be accompanied by a cashiers check or bid bond in the amount of 2% of the total bid amount. The successful bidder is required to provide performance, payment, and maintenance bonds for the full contract amount. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Contractors are required to submit TEC Form 1295 (Certificate of Interested Parties) with their bid. Electronic bids and bid securities must be submitted through the specified bidding platform, with all relevant rules and signature guidelines followed. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. a. Under this Contract, Contractor shall furnish all materials, appliances, tools, equipment, transportation, services, and all labor and superintendence necessary for the construction of the Work as described in these Technical Specifications and as shown on the Plans. The completed installation shall not lack any part that can be reasonably implied as necessary to its proper functioning or any subsidiary item that is customarily furnished, and Contractor shall deliver the installation to Owner in operating condition. b. The Work, in general, under this Contract includes the purchase, installation, and construction of all structures, equipment, and materials, including appurtenances, as indicated on the Plans. Major items of construction and services required are designated as follows: Construction of a 0.30 MGD prefabricated steel basin wastewater treatment plant. Includes all site work, including crushed concrete drive and foundations, asphalt driveway, storm sewer, swales, inlets, concrete pads, fencing, and all electrical controls, wiring, and conduit necessary for a complete system. 1. Motors furnished under other sections of these specifications as part of equipment items shall conform to requirements of this section except as noted otherwise in that section or indicated otherwise on Drawings or schedules. 2. Submersible well motor shall be supplied in accordance with other sections of this specification. Contractor to supply all insurance, bonds, materials, labor, equipment, incidentals for the supply and installation of the following: A. Construction of wastewater plant site work to include site preparation, grading, crushed concrete paving, drainage swales, inlets, disposal of unsuitable material; wood fence and double gate; sanitary force main, storm sewer and treated sanitary effluent discharge line; non-potable water line and yard hydrants, foundation preparation and foundations for wastewater treatment plant including reinforced concrete blower pad, reinforced concrete drain pad with drain piping, reinforced concrete pad for disinfection building and stair landings; portable emergency shower/eye wash; Complete in Place. B. Furnish and install a 300,000 GPD wastewater plant (prefabricated steel plant) including headworks (manual bar screen/splitter box), aeration basin, clarifier, chlorine contact basin, sludge digesters, blowers, associated above ground and interconnecting piping, stairs, walkways, controls, flow measurement, disinfection equipment and enclosure including safety shower/eye wash, electrical equipment and controls for a complete and operational system; Complete in Place. C. Furnish and install conduit and wiring, conductors, controls, transformer and utility electrical service connection, outdoor floodlighting. Complete in Place. A. The contractor shall furnish and install one prefabricated Wastewater Treatment System, complete and ready for operation in accordance with the plans and specifications stated herein. The treatment plant shall be a prefabricated steel package units conforming to this specification. The wastewater treatment system shall be of the activated sludge type designed for treating a total of 300,000 gallons per day of 300 PPM-BOD5 domestic sewage based on composite sewage samples of the average daily flow and clarification capabilities for 300,000 gallons per day (Average Daily Flow). The complete system shall include all necessary equipment for efficient plant operation. B. The system shall be factory assembled, so far as possible, with all piping and controls. All surfaces shall be factory coated. Sufficient coating shall be furnished by manufacturer to contractor for touch-up. C. The contractor shall perform and/or make the following arrangements: 1. Field unloading and setting of the wastewater treatment plant on its foundation pads, anchoring in position as defined by the contract specifications. 2. Assemble into position, at the location shown on the plans, the ancillary equipment, which has been disconnected at the factory for shipping purposes. 3. Interconnection of piping and wiring. 4. Tie-in of all piping, power and wiring connections to site utilities. The power required at power block or main circuit breaker is 460 Volt, 3 Phase, 60 Hz. 5. Touch-up coating of those areas damaged during installation. 6. Clarifier bottom grouting. 7. Field assembly including bolting or welding when required. Level all "V" Notch weir plates.
