The new civic center will be located at the northwest corner of Valenica Blvd and Lakeview Ave in the City of Woodlake. ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE RANGE $10M BASIS OF AWARD The project, if awarded, will be based upon all the work contemplated in the Base Bid. Description: A. The work to be performed under this Contract consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools and equipment and constructing complete and in place improvements for the 2025 Civic Center Project. The work consists of construction of the new Civic Center building and includes, but is not limited to, site work, landscaping, parking, CMU walls, concrete, structural steel, rough carpentry, casework, exterior cement plaster, single-ply and concrete tile, roofing, ornamental metal, sheet metal, metal fabrications, stairs, doors, storefront systems, finish hardware, gypsum wallboard, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and fire protection systems. See "Index to Specifications and Drawings" for additional work to be included, and not specifically described herein. B. Contractor shall provide and use all means necessary to ensure the physical work to be performed is within construction standards as set by General Safety Orders of Title 8; California Code of Regulations 1998 Edition, and as set by CAL-OSHA requirements, local, State and National Building, Mechanical and Electrical Codes, latest editions, and safety requirements for secondary structures. C. Existing Site Conditions: The Contractor shall make a thorough examination of the site to determine all existing conditions affecting the work. Site Examination will only be available during Pre-construction Meeting/Site Visit. Contractors will not have access to site at any other time. D. All work will be performed under a single contract.
