Renovation of a mixed-use development in Tulare, California. Working plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade theater / auditorium.
**As of November 18, 2025, bids were rejected. No definite date for the rebid.** Construct the Tulare Union High School Auditorium Stage Lighting Project at 755 E. Tulare Ave., Tulare, CA 93274. Work is to be performed per the Contract Documents, including drawings and specifications. The Owner reserves the right to add or deduct any additive or deductive items after the lowest responsible and responsive bidder is determined. Public work prevailing wage requirements apply. All contractors and subcontractors for contracts over $25,000 must be registered under Labor Code section 1725.5, and the contractor license required is Class "B". The deadline for completion is September 14, 2026. Bids must be sealed and submitted to the Tulare Joint Union High School District at 426 N. Blackstone, Tulare, CA 93274. Bid security is required in the form of a bond or check equal to 10% of the base bid. Successful bidder must furnish Payment and Faithful Performance Bonds each for 100% of the contract sum.
