Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Middlefield, Ohio. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The project includes the construction of a new well house structure, submersible pump, process piping and valving, electrical, HVAC, approximately 1,300 feet of 12' wide asphalt access drive, 1,312 feet of 6" water main and 778 feet of 8" water main, 1,360 feet electrical conduit trenching, 2,720 feet of 4" electric conduit and various other items. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, or an irrevocable letter of credit in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, or bid bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount bid. Such check or bid bond shall be made payable to The Village of Middlefield, Ohio, and will be held as a guarantee that in the event the bid is accepted and a contract awarded to the bidder, the Contract will be duly executed and its performance properly secured. Each individual employed by the Contractor or any Subcontractor and engaged in work on the project under this contract shall be paid the prevailing wage established by the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of Ohio. This shall occur regardless of any contractual relationship which may be said to exist between the Contractor or any Subcontractor and such individual. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Construction Performance and Payment Bonds for the Contract in sums not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total price bid for the complete work, said bonds to be that of an approved surety company authorized to transact business in the State of Ohio and shall be underwritten by a surety that is listed on the most current Department of the Treasury Circular 570, "Surety Companies Acceptable on Federal Bonds." The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, and to accept and bid which it deems most favorable.
