Site work for a water / sewer project in Middlefield, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of improvements to the Wastewater Treatment Plant, including removal of three existing travelling bridge filters and one existing UV disinfection equipment, and replacement with four new cloth disk filters and a new UV disinfection system. The work will require structural, building, and piping modifications for installation of the proposed equipment, minor site work, and associated electrical modifications. Bid security must be provided in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Prospective bidders must register with ARC Document Solutions as a plan holder and purchase a complete set of printed bidding documents. Bidding documents are sold as complete sets only, and no refunds will be made. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required. All further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award are specified in the Instructions to Bidders included in the bidding documents. Statutory requirements, laws, regulations, and outside funding requirements are referenced in the Instructions to Bidders and attached to Section 00 73 73 as a Contract Document. A. The Work is located at the Middlefield Wastewater Treatment Facility, 14680 Tare Creek Parkway, Middlefield, Ohio 44062. B. The Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, constructing the Work described below and all related appurtenances. The Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Removal of existing travelling bridge filters, non-potable water pumps, and UV disinfection equipment, including Filter Building and existing UV channel modifications, as required for completion of the Work. 2. Installation of proposed disk filters, non-potable water pumps, and UV disinfection equipment, including building,structure and piping modifications, as required for complete installation of the new equipment. C. Contracting Method: The Project shall be constructed under one prime Contract. Question Deadline 04/17/2026 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
