Consultant will be selected to complete the Town of Nunn Comprehensive Safety Action Plan in accordance with the Professional Services Agreement and DOT SS4A Grant Guidelines. The contracted engineering services will involve: - Assisting in forming and setting goals for eliminating roadway fatalities and serious injuries. - Conducting stakeholder engagement and public outreach, including four meetings to gather feedback and collaborate with stakeholders. - Analyzing existing road conditions, historical trends, and identifying high-risk locations, with a geospatial presentation of findings. - Developing inclusive strategies and equity impact assessments addressing the needs of underserved communities. - Suggesting policy and process changes based on current assessments. - Prioritizing projects addressing identified safety issues for short, mid, and long-term implementation. - Developing methodologies to measure and report plan progress post-implementation. - Summarizing tasks, providing draft versions for town review, and conducting a comment resolution meeting. - Issuing a final SS4A-approvable Comprehensive Safety Action Plan incorporating all feedback and comments. Submission instructions include: - Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid meeting is required in order to submit qualifications. - Three hard copies plus one digital file must be delivered by the specified deadline; late submissions will not be accepted. - Bidder prequalification/preregistration, insurance, license, and prevailing wage are required. - The award will be on an all-or-none basis.
