Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate The Town of Concord, the awarding authority, invites bids from contractors for the Beede Swim Center Roof Project. The Beede Swim Center Roof Project is at 498 Walden St., Concord, MA 01742. Base scope of work consists of: 1. Installation of new fluid applied remedial roof coating at high barrel roof. Spot replacement of existing EPDM roofing system to be completed at wet areas prior to coating. 2. Remove and dispose of existing single ply EPDM roofing assemblies down to the structural deck. Install new sbs-modified bitumen roofing system and all accessories required where indicated on the drawings. Sub Bid Category HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Masonry THE BASE SCOPE OF WORK IS ESTIMATED TO COST $350,000. Question Deadline 10/10/2025 at 3:00 PM ET No oral interpretations will be made to any quoters as to the meaning of the specifications. Every request for such an interpretation shall be made in writing by a quoter and sent to Aaron Kotilainen, akotilainen@grlarchitects.com, procurement@concordma.gov A. Project Identification: The name of the Project on the Contract Documents is 1. Beede Swim Center Roof Project 2. 498 Walden Street 3. Concord, Massachusetts, 01742 B. Work in this Contract shall include, but is not limited to the following items: 1. Roof Areas B, C, D, E, F, & G a. Remove and dispose of existing single-ply EPDM roof assembly and all associated components down to the structural deck; install new 2-ply SBS modified bitumen roof assembly and all associated components b. *Filed Sub-Bid Work: Plumbing* Remove and dispose of existing roof drains and all associated components; install new roof drains and all associated components. c. *Filed Sub-Bid Work: Masonry* Remove and dispose of existing reglet and throughwall flashings and all associated components; install new reglet and throughwall flashings and all associated components d. *Filed Sub-Bid Work: HVAC & Electrical* Temporarily disconnect, raise, and reconnect plumbing, HVAC, and electrical components where necessary in order to obtain adequate flashing heights. e. *Unit Price* Repair existing metal structural deck where necessary. f. *Unit Price* Repair existing wood blocking where necessary. 2. Roof Area A a. Perform spot replacement of existing EPDM roofing assemblies (including membrane, coverboard, polyisocyanurate insulation, baseboard, and vapor barrier, etc.) where moisture intrustion has been detected. b. Install new fluid-applied remedial coating on top of existing and repaired EPDM roofing assemblies. 3. Alternates: a. Alternate #1: Remove and replace existing parapet wall coping at entirety of roof.
