Site work for a water / sewer project in Port Bolivar, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Sealed proposals are requested for furnishing all necessary materials, equipment, superintendence, and labor for the proposed Waterline Improvements project in Galveston County, Texas. Each proposal must include a bid guarantee of at least 5% of the total bid amount, which can be in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, negotiable U.S. Government bonds, or a bid bond from a qualified surety company. Bids submitted without this guarantee will not be considered. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive responsible bidder, with the right reserved to reject any or all bids or waive any informality as needed. The successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond equal to 100% of the contract price, using forms provided, from a surety acceptable to the Owner. The Owner retains the right to award the contract within sixty days of bid opening. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held to review the scope of work. The successful bidder must ensure non-discrimination in employment. Bidders must comply with applicable federal executive orders and Department of Labor regulations. Contract documents, specifications, and plans are available for examination online, and must be used in preparation of bids; responsibility for errors arising from incompleteness lies with the bidder. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents Question Deadline 10/14/2025 GENERAL This contract provides for the construction and installation of potable water lines. This contract shall include all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools barricading, traffic control and superintendence required for the complete and operable construction of the utilities as shown on the contract plans and within the specification. Construction will occur within easements, county road rights of way, or TxDOT right of way. Base Bid 1. Boyt Road from Bay Street to the end of the street, approximately 1,099 LF of 4" waterline and 1,379 LF of 6" waterline. 2. West Boyt Road from Boyt Road to the intersection of W. Boyt Road and South Road, then to the end of the street, approximately 2,008 LF of 4" waterline. 3. Sievers Cove from West Boyt Road to the end of the street, approximately 745 LF of 4" waterline. 4. Albermarle from West Boyt Road to Chadwick, approximately 491 LF of 4" waterline. 5. Chadwick from Albermarle to the end of the street, approximately 362 LF of 4" waterline. 6. Raleigh from West Boyt Road to Albermarle, approximately 563 LF of 4" waterline. 7. Kingston Beach Road from Loop 108 to Broadway Avenue, approximately 759 LF of 4" waterline. 8. Broadway Avenue from Kingston Beach Road to the end of the street, approximately 1,421 LF of 4" waterline. 9. Martinique Lane approximately 3,292 LF. 10. Trinidad Lane approximately 2,706 LF of 4" waterline. 11. Bahama Lane approximately 3,322 LF of 4" waterline. 12. Marlin Drive from Martinique Lane to Bahama Lane, approximately 492 LF of 4" waterline. 13. Waco Road from Highway 87 to the end of the street, approximately 2,884 LF of 4" waterline and 725 LF of 6" DR-11 HDPE waterline by directional drill. 14. Paisley Street from Highway 87 to the end of the street, approximately 1,757 LF of 4" waterline. 15. Alma Road from Highway 87 to the end of the street, approximately 2,146 LF of 4" waterlineand 150 LF of 6" DR-11 HDPE waterline by directional drill. 16. South Tinkle Road from Highway 87 to the end of the street, approximately 2,200 LF of 4" waterline and 150 LF of 6" DR-11 HDPE waterline by directional drill. 17. South Jacks Road from Highway 87 to the end of the street, approximately 2,200 LF of 4" waterline and 200 LF of 6" DR-11 HDPE waterline by directional drill. 18. Jack & Bore approximately 67 LF of 6" waterline encased in 63 LF of 12" Steel Casing across HWY 87 at O'Neal Road.
