Clearing of landscape and rock to create new burial sites. Project Number 26-13 Estimated Cost $100,000 Contractor Qualification Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Project area is along Liberty Lane outside of the 100' waterfront buffer zone. Approximately 345' from the end of Liberty Lane to just beyond the third house (where developed begins) and 100' along Liberty Road. (34,500 sq ft). Area to have a paved road in place of where existing dirt road is. Finished areas on either side of the road to be hydroseeded. The scope of this project includes: Clearing vegetation, trees and stumps in undeveloped area. Areas where ledge is indicated (2016 test pit map) is to be pound fractured (approx. 3-4'). Solid ledge can remain, and burials will take place around that. There are mounds of dirt and rocks to be moved to Harborview Cemetery area on the other side of Liberty Road. All removed soil is to be screened on site and used at the end of the project for fill. All unused materials to be taken away. Areas shown on test pit map needs to be pound fractured and removed to accommodate the depth specified. All fractured ledge, boulders, trees, and stumps are to be removed and taken away. Area is to be filled with excavatable soil provided by contractor along with onsite screened soil from project.
