Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Boston, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 318,399-square-foot, 14-story above grade educational facility.

Qualified and experienced firms are invited to submit a Statement of Qualifications to provide Public Construction Manager at Risk Services for immediate repairs to the MassArt Tower Building in Boston. This project involves the replacement of mechanical and plumbing infrastructure in a 14-story, 318,399 square foot academic building. The scope of work includes replacement of central risers for mechanical, plumbing, rainwater leader, and fire standpipes, and generator support infrastructure including fuel piping, pumps, storage tanks, as well as the addition of a smoke control system. Firms must have prior experience as a Construction Manager on at least three CM-at-Risk projects, and have completed at least one project of a similar cost, complexity, type, and size within the last ten years. At submission, firms must hold a DCAMM Certification in the Contractor Category, General Building Construction, with a single limit greater than $6,900,000.
