Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Tallahassee, Florida. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade fire / police facility.

Sealed proposals are requested for Professional Construction Management at Risk (CMAR) services for the construction of a fully designed Emergency Management Services (EMS) facility located at 264 Joe Thomas Road in Quincy, Florida. This is a HUD/CDBG grant funded project. Proposals must comply with requirements that prohibit entities on the convicted respondent list from submitting bids, and adherence to the county's non-discrimination and equal opportunity policies is required. The Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive informalities, reject any or all proposals, re-bid the project, and adjust quantities to meet the county's needs at the bid unit price. Minority and women-owned businesses are encouraged to participate, and open and fair competition is enforced. Accommodations for persons with disabilities are available through the Purchasing Office. The project is for the construction of the fully designed Emergency Medical Services (EMS)-Quincy at 264 Joe Adams Road, which can be viewed on the County Property Appraiser's website, Parcel ID #3-24-2N-4W-0000-00311-0100. The new EMS-Quincy includes the space and functionality of a typical EMS station. The new EMS-Quincy facility is a one-story building and will be approximately 9,015 square feet upon completion. This project is funded with federal HUD dollars through a Florida Commerce CDBG-DR grant agreement M0026, and therefore, is subject to federal HUD laws, 2 CFR 200 Part 2, and the grant agreement. The grant construction budget is $2.2 million. Substantial Completion 365 days from issuance of NTP completion 30 days from Substantial Completion General: 1. The construction phase will include, but is not limited to, mobilization, phasing, and scheduling of the work, obtaining bids and quotes for work, materials and/or supplies and the execution of subcontracts or procurements beginning with mobilization through completion of the project. 2. During the construction, the CMAR will interface and coordinate with the Design Professional as conditions and construction activities dictate, to discuss scheduling foreseeable problems, equipment and material delivery days, sub-contractor/vendor performance, safety, and any other issues pertinent to potential delays, budget overrun that could impact the successful and timely completion of the project. 3. The CMAR shall review all invoices from subcontractors/vendors, ensure all work, materials and supplies were to specifications, and resolve any discrepancies before they are submitted to the Design Professional for review and approval.
