Demolition and renovation of existing spaces. Scopes of work include demolition, concrete, masonry, rough carpentry, spray-foam insulation, doors/hardware, metal studs & GWB, acoustical ceilings, flooring, painting, toilet accessories, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, data/communication, and security. Pre-qualification requirements: Bids are being solicited from Pre-Qualified Bidders only. PROJECT/WORK IDENTIFICATION: A. General: Project name is Suwannee Farmers Market, White Springs, Florida as shown on the Contract Documents prepared by MLD Architects, LLC. 211 John Knox Road, Suite 105, Tallahassee, Florida, 32303 (1-850-385-9200). B. Contract Documents: Indicate the work of the Contract and related requirements and conditions that have an impact on the project. C. Summary of References: Work of the Contract can be summarized by references to the Contract, General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, Specification Sections, Drawings, addenda and modifications to the contract documents issued subsequent to the initial printing of this project manual and including but not necessarily limited to printed material referenced by any of these. It is recognized that work of the contract is also unavoidably affected or influenced by governing regulations, natural phenomenon including weather conditions and other forces outside the contract documents. D. Abbreviated Written Summary: Briefly and without force and effect upon the contract documents, the work of the Contract can be summarized as follows: The work includes converting warehouse space under the mezzanine into a training room, meeting room, and team room; repurposing the mezzanine level into office space; new egress doors to be installed, new railing along the mezzanine perimeter. Additive Alternate #1; Installation of metal wall panels on the inside of the warehouse space. Additive Alternate #2; New Armory Structure under the awning on the West side of the building. Additive Alternate #3; Installation of Epoxy flooring inside the warehouse space. Additive Alternate #4; New fencing and gates for secure storage. Additive Alternate #5; Renovate existing restroom spaces.
