Renovation of a municipal facility in Chittenden, Vermont. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade municipal facility.
The project consists of renovations to the existing HVAC system. The work includes removal of the existing oil furnace, ductwork controls, oil tank, piping and accessories; replacement of existing control systems; removal and re-installation of ACT ceilings; installation of a new scrim support system for insulation above the existing suspended ceiling at the bottom of the existing horizontal roof framing; installation of new air source heat pump systems, piping, controls, ductwork and accessories; installation of new supplemental electric heat units and controls; all cutting, patching, painting, and repair of finishes affected by the new work as noted on the drawings or specified; and all associated electrical work for the project. Sealed bids must be received by October 27, 2025. Hard copies may be dropped off at the Chittenden Town Office or sent electronically to the Town Clerk/Treasurer by 2 PM. If any person contemplating submitting a bid for construction of the Work is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the proposed Contract Documents, or finds discrepancies in or omissions from any part of the proposed Contract Documents, he may submit to the Architect a written request for interpretation thereof not later than four (4) days before bids will be opened.
