Site work and new construction of a stadium in Ceres, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade stadium.
As of November 20, 2025, the project was awarded to JL Bray and Son Inc. but the awarded amount is not available. REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS AND SEALED PROPOSALS FOR THE LEASE-LEASEBACK CONSTRUCTION OF PHASE TWO OF THE CENTRAL VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL STADIUM Proposals will only be considered from lease leaseback entities that have been prequalified by the District. Lease leaseback entities must hold a California Contractors License, Class B, which is current, valid, and in good standing with the California Contractor's State License Board. Entities are notified that the Director of Industrial Relations has ascertained the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and rates for overtime and holiday work in the locality where the work is to be performed. Entities shall be responsible for verifying with the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations that all such copies of the prevailing rate provided by the District are current and accurate. The requirement to pay these wage rates and rates is further detailed in the relevant leaseback documents. The successful lease leaseback entity shall, before entering upon the performance of the work, file a payment and performance bond with and approved by the District. All lease leaseback entities submitting proposals must have registered with the California State Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 prior to submitting a proposal, and before entering into a contract to work on the project. California Education Code section 45125.2 requires entities providing construction services to the District to ensure the safety of pupils where employees of the entity or subcontractors will have contact with pupils. Contractor shall certify that methods are being undertaken to ensure the pupils' safety. Certification must be accomplished by completing the "Declaration Regarding Employee Fingerprinting and Criminal Background Check." The Board reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, and further reserves the right to waive any formalities or irregularities in the proposals. Phase Two ofthe Central Valley High School Stadium School The estimated total cost ofthe Project is Three Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($3,500,000.00) Central Valley High School Stadium Phase 2 - Project includes but is not limited to the construction of Three Stadium Buildings including a Visitor Snack Bar Building, Home Team room building, and Visitor Team room building and associated site work. The proposed project generally includes but is not limited to the following items. This list is generic and is not intended to include all the work required for the project. It is assumed that the Phase 2 project construction will occur concurrently with the Phase 1 Project, already under construction. Site Work All adjacent site work to the new buildings which includes concrete flat work, planters, trees, and the connection to the utility stub ups provided in Phase I. Home and Visitor Team Room Buildings Construction oftwo new ~ 1,472 square foot team room/locker room, and restroom buildings clad in cement plaster, thin brick, veneer, and metal panels. The roofing includes a single-ply membrane system. The structural system is primarily wood on continuous footings and beams to support various openings and overhangs. The interior ofthe building includes gypsum board, cement plaster, ceramic tile, FRP Panels, resinous flooring, polished concrete, modular casework, and various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing fixtures. To be included as a Bid Alternate: Construction of a new visitor snack bar ~ 1,552 square foot snack bar, and restroom building clad in cement plaster, thin brick, veneer, and metal panels. The roofing includes a single-ply membrane system. The structural system is primarily wood on continuous footings and beams to support various openings and overhangs. The interior ofthe building includes gypsum board, cement plaster, ceramic tile, FRP Panels, resinous flooring, polished concrete, modular casework, food service equipment, and various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing fixtures.
