Renovation of a mixed-use development in Ceres, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a industrial development; and water / sewer project.

The work to be performed includes, but is not limited to, the following: North Building: Provide tenant improvement to the existing building for service space. Work includes demolition of interior walls, plumbing, and electrical. New work includes new walls, ceilings, finishes, new mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and structural elements to support space configuration. South Building: Provide tenant improvement to the existing building to provide warehouse space. Work includes demolition of interior walls, plumbing, and electrical. New work includes toilet fixture replacement and lighting to support the new space configuration. Sitework: Modify existing site to provide new water service to the north building. Such other items or details, not mentioned above, that are required by the Drawings and Technical Specifications Plans, City of Ceres Standard Specifications and Typical Details, and the Special Conditions shall be performed, placed, constructed, or installed. Bids are required for the entire work described herein. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or Bid Bond in the amount of 10 percent of the total bid price, payable to the City of Ceres. The contractor must possess a valid CLASS B license at the time of submitting bids and for the duration of the project. The contractor shall pay the prevailing wage rates as determined by the Director of Industrial Relations of the State of California. Proof of registration with the DIR is required. As a condition of award, the successful bidder shall furnish a payment bond and a performance bond in the full amount of the contract price and submit proof of insurance for the work involved. Digital copies of the plans and specifications may be obtained from the City of Ceres Engineering Department. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in a bid, or to make the award to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder as it may best serve the interest of the City.
