Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a water / sewer project in Brevard, North Carolina. Design plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project.
This project will have three phases. Phase 1 will include installing new screening, grit removal, a pump station, and upgrading the equalization basin. Phase 2 will convert the pump station into an influent pump station, upgrade the solids handling facilities, and convert existing basins into a digester and post equalization basin. Phase 3 will be an expansion with new pumps and an expanded biological treatment process. As of October 3, 2025, this project is in the design phase. Construction is expected to begin in 2026.
