This Onondaga County Department of Transportation (OCDOT) project, in the Village of Fayetteville, involves the rehabilitation of the existing bridge on Limestone Plaza over Limestone Creek. The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the Plans and described in these Specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following: removal of the existing bridge deck, removal and storage of the existing steel superstructure, installation of sheet piling scour protection, concrete repairs to the substructures, installation of new bearings, reinstallation of the stored steel superstructure, construction of a new cast-in-place concrete bridge deck and approach slabs, and reconstruction of the roadway at the approaches, including new guide rail. All work shall be substantially completed within 120 calendar days from Notice to Proceed unless such period is extended by the Owner as provided herein. All work shall be completed by November 20, 2026. The proposal must be accompanied by cash, certified check or bid bond payable to the order of the "County of Onondaga" in an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the GROSS SUM BID FOR THE COMPLETE PROJECT ONLY. Upon award of the contract to the low bidder, a 100% Performance Bond shall be required. All bids must include all items contained in section "Form of Proposal", in which are the required federal Non-Collusive Bidding and Disbarment Certifications and Lobbying Certifications. All bids must also include a completed DBE Participation Package as defined in section "Additional Information for Bidders".
