LOCATION OF THE WORK: The work to be performed hereunder is located in the City of Irvine, County of Orange, in multiple locations throughout the City. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work to be performed shall include, but not be limited to: The City of Irvine (City) is participating with the Orange County Transportation Authority's (OCTA) Environmental Cleanup Program (ECP) to improve overall water quality in Orange County. The City of Irvine has been approved for grant funding from the ECP to implement water quality improvement projects addressing pollutants originating from or conveyed through transportation systems. Grant funds will assist the City of Irvine in meeting federal Clean Water Act standards for urban runoff through the purchase and installation of recognized structural best management practices (BMPs). The City has selected Connector Pipe Screen (CPS) stormwater treatment devices to be installed at 229 locations throughout the City. The City is installing these CPS units as part of its compliance efforts to meet Statewide Trash Provisions requirements approved by the State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board). The work to be performed shall include, but not be limited to: the city has selected connector pipe screen (cps) stormwater treatment devices to be installed at 344 locations throughout the city. The contractor, and any subcontractor under him, shall pay not less than the specified prevailing rates of wages to all workers employed in the execution of this agreement.
