These bids are for furnishing and delivering the items requisitioned by the LaPorte County Highway Superintendent for the repair and maintenance of county roads, bridges, and equipment for the year 2026. All bids must be time-stamped to be accepted. Annual bids will be received for the following materials, supplies, and/or services: o Class 1 - Crushed Limestone o Class 2 - Bituminous Patching / RAP Materials o Class 3 - Blast Furnace Slag o Class 5 - E-85, No-Lead, and Diesel Motor Fuel o Class 6 - Signs and Sign Posts o Class 7 - Culverts and Guardrail Each bid must include a bid bond or certified check in the amount specified in the bid documents, made payable to the Treasurer of LaPorte County, as a guarantee of good faith. If the bid includes labor or application of materials, the contractor must furnish a performance bond for double the amount of the bid. The Board of Commissioners retains the authority to reject any or all bids, or to accept the bid determined to be in the best interest of LaPorte County, Indiana. The Board also reserves the right to re-advertise and solicit new bids.
