Site work for a water / sewer project in Scottsburg, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The work consists of replacing existing water lines with a new 8" water main inside the Town limits, including all necessary connections, service lines, hydrants, valves, appurtenances, and surface replacements. The bid must cover all general construction, mechanical installation, labor, materials, permits, licenses, insurance, and all other items necessary for the construction of the described facilities. Bidders must submit sealed bids with all required documents, including a certified check or acceptable bidder's bond in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total aggregate bid. Approved performance and payment bonds in the full contract amount are required at contract execution. Bidders must comply with all applicable federal and state regulations, including wage rates, affirmative action, Buy America provisions, and goals for minority, women, and veteran business participation. All bids must be complete, submitted on specified forms, and may not be conditional or qualified. The project is subject to grant funding from the Department of Housing and Urban Development via the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs.
