Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in North Richland Hills, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

The City of North Richland Hills is the recipient of a Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) grant to install two permanent generators at the City's Municipal Service Center Complex located on Dick Fisher Drive South. The City of North Richland Hills is the recipient of a Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) grant to install two permanent generators at the City's Municipal Service Center Complex located on Dick Fisher Drive South: o A 175 kW diesel generator for the Public Works Operations/Fleet Maintenance building o A 50 kW diesel for the Fire Maintenance/Facilities & Construction building The generators will require automatic transfer switches and diesel tanks. The design and construction documents should include all items (miscellaneous plumbing, electrical modifications and concrete pads, etc.) needed to support the procurement and installation of all components needed to meet the terms of the grant and provide these critical city facilities with backup power supplies. The project will comply with the latest edition of codes and standards as required by Federal, State, and Local rules and regulations. This project has been determined to be Categorically Excluded (CATEX) in accordance with FEMA Instruction 108-1-1 and Department ofHomeland Security (DHS) Instruction 023-01-001-01; (CATEX M13) from the need to prepare for either an Environmental Impact Statement or Environmental Assessment. Survey area (if needed). Review available electrical drawings and existing project sites. Develop preliminary concept plans and rough cost estimates. Meet with City staff on preliminary concept plans. Address the issues identified by City staff. Develop final plans and specifications with cost estimates. Meet with City and allow City to review. Incorporate any changes into the final design that the City require from their reviews. Provide support during project bidding and construction. The project is expected to commence upon final execution of a contract for services. A project time frame will be coordinated with the selected firm. The grant project and all associated construction shall be completed by February 1st, 2028. The design phase should aim to be completed by April 2026. Include a graphic timeline and project schedule with key project milestones with your submittal.
