This project involves primary electrical and emergency electrical systems upgrades at the Montgomery County Stillwater Center, located at 8100 N. Main Street, Dayton, Ohio. The scope of work focuses on bringing electrical distribution, emergency power, and related systems into compliance with current building and life safety codes and Ohio Department of Health standards. Work includes selective demolition of existing electrical infrastructure, installation of new power distribution equipment, emergency and standby power connections, and updated distribution systems. A new electrical room will be constructed adjacent to the existing generator room to house upgraded electrical equipment. Architectural and plumbing modifications are incorporated into the scope of the project to support electrical upgrades. The bidder shall examine the plans and specifications prior to the pre-bid conference and be ready to raise questions concerning any unclear matter in the bidding process. II. The bidder recognizes that the purpose of the pre-bid conference is to resolve ambiguities, inconsistencies, errors or omissions in the contract documents, and interpretations thereof shall be made with a preference to the accomplishment of the purpose of the contract, without additional cost to the Board.
