The City of Gainesville, FL is seeking proposals for: Exclusive Weekly collection of Single-Family Residential Curbside Solid Waste, Bulk, Recycling, White Goods, Yard Trash and other City designated solid waste and recycling needs. Optional Exclusive Weekly Food Waste Composting or other Processing and Collection. This is a franchise agreement with a term of 10 years and two 5-year renewals. *NOTE: Bidder must download the bid document, including specifications, plans, etc. from the Attachments tab. Background Gainesville is the largest city and also the county seat of Alachua County. It serves as the cultural, educational and commercial center for the north central Florida region.
