Requirement contract for maintenance painting of apartments at Marcy Houses, located in Brooklyn Neighborhood (BK06), Brooklyn. The term of the contract is three years with the option for NYCHA to extend for up to two additional one-year renewals. No bid security is required. This contract is part of a series of ten requirement contracts for Maintenance Painting of Apartments – Development Specific. NYCHA will award only one of the contracts in this series to the lowest responsive, responsible contractor, with the possibility of awarding up to one additional contract per contractor under certain circumstances. Contractors must enroll Authority residents as apprentices based on the value of the Bid Adjustment Factor and comply with Section 3 (Apprenticeship Program) requirements. All vendors are required to participate in NYCHA’s MWBE Utilization Plan by submitting a Utilization Plan or a Waiver as specified. MWBE and Section 3 plans must be submitted via the eComply system. Do not include Section 3 or MWBE documentation within the bid submission via iSupplier. Pre-qualification requirements: To be considered eligible for award, a bidder must pre-qualify as an "Approved Supplier" via the NYCHA-Paint Pre-Qualification List (PQL) and appear on the active approved vendor list. Vendors must comply with the Apprenticeship Program and submit required Section 3 and MWBE documentation as instructed. Failure to provide the MWBE Utilization Plan or Waiver by the deadline may render a bid non-responsive.
