The Project is located in the Town of Coward, Florence County, South Carolina, and consists of improvements to the water system to include the following Work: o Abandonment of existing drinking water well o Construction of a new drinking water well, installation of a pump with switchgear and controls, a gas chlorination system, and all related work and appurtenances This project is being funded by a loan from the State Revolving Fund (SRF); therefore, bidders must comply with all applicable state and federal requirements identified in the bid documents - including Davis-Bacon and "American Iron and Steel" Provisions. Additionally, prospective bidders must implement procedures that ensure that Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) firms are given opportunities for meaningful participation if subcontracts are awarded. Bidders must provide a 5% bid bond.
