Site work for a communication facility in Ansley, Nebraska. Working plans call for site work for a one-story above grade communication facility.
The work consists of furnishing material, labor, and equipment for the construction of approximately 3.0 miles of 12.47 kV distribution line and 1.4 miles of 7.2 kV distribution line, including the removal of approximately 4.1 miles of 2.4 kV distribution line. The project also requires changing out all equipment from 2.4 kV to 12.47 kV. Bidders must follow the Davis-Bacon Act and Build America, Buy America Act. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the form attached or a certified check of a bank that is a member of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, payable to the order of the Owner, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the maximum bid price. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond with sureties listed by the United States Treasury Department as Acceptable Sureties, in a penal sum not less than the total contract price. The Owner will award the contract to the responsible bidder submitting the lowest and best proposal or may reject any or all proposals.
