Sealed bids are requested for the construction of the Replacement of Effluent Filters at the Allred and Regional Wastewater Treatment Plants for the City of Auburndale. The principal features include: Allred Wastewater Treatment Plant: 1. Demolition of existing denitrification filter and UV disinfection (old system). 2. Installation of disk filters, valves, piping, and ancillary equipment. 3. Modification of yard piping to tie in the new equipment to existing facilities. 4. Installation of new site electrical conduit and integration of filter control panels with existing facility SCADA. Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant: 1. Construction of cast-in-place concrete filter basin. 2. Installation of disk filters, valves, piping, and ancillary equipment inside newly constructed basin. 3. Modification of yard piping and sanitary sewer to tie in the new structure to existing facilities. 4. Installation of new site electrical conduit and integration of filter control panels with existing facility SCADA. Contractors submitting bid proposals must obtain bid documents from the Engineer. Proposals must include all work items in the contract to be considered responsive. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope with the project title and bidder’s name clearly marked. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities, reject any or all bids, or accept the bid in their best interest.
