Los Banos High School K-Wing Re-Roofing Project Project LocaKon: Los Banos High School 1966 S. 11th. St. Los Banos, CA, 93635 1. K-Wing; 2. Includes removal and disposal of exisKng roofing system(s), insulaKon board, guaers, downspouts, flashings, copings, etc. for a complete prepared roof surface. 3. Include one hundred (100) square feet of decking replacement included in the base bid price. A per square foot price will be inserted into the bid form for anything needed and approved by the district over 100 square feet. Photos are required of all dryrot replacement with billing for anything over 100 square feet. Install one layer of rosin paper over the enKre wood roof deck at the low slope roof secKon only. 4. Install new wood nailers at all perimeter edges and fasten at 6" on center staggered. 5. Raise all roof curbs to a minimum of 8" above the finished roof height including new sheet metal 24 gauge galvanized pan installed over one layer of membrane loose laid. 6. Install one layer of 2" Polyiso InsulaKon Board and Tapered Polyiso InsulaKon Crickets, over one layer of Red Rosin Paper fasten with screws and plates per manufacturer's specificaKons. 7. Install one layer of 1/2 " Wood Fiber Roof Board in Insuloc InsulaKon Adhesive. 8. Install one layer of Flexbase 80 in Greenlock Adhesive at all horizontal and verKcal surfaces up to 24" in height. All verKcal walls over 24" in height will require one layer of 1/4" dens deck prime installed over the wall surface and one layer of KEE Stone NF 60 membrane in KEE Double Sided WB Bonding Adhesive. 9. Install KEE Stone FB 60 mil membrane adhered at all horizontal surfaces per manufactures details. 10. Install KEE Stone NF 60 mil membrane adhered at all verKcal surfaces per manufacturers details. 11. Install new KEE prefabricated boots at all pipe penetraKons. 12. Install new vents at all locaKons and incorporate into the roof system per manufacturers details. Remove and replace with custom sheet metal curb cap style sheet metal vents at all curb locaKons. 13. At all fixed pipe support locaKons remove and save for re-use all of the exisKng 24-gauge sheet metal pan and uni struts. Install all sheet metal pans and re-aaach to the conduit. 14. Install new C-Port rubber blocks at all condensate, electrical, etc. for support blocking at the required or sufficient distance to properly support the conduit or lines. 15. Install KEE walkway pad from the ladder access or roof hatch to and around all HVAC units and under all support blocking. 16. Install new 24 gauge clad edge metal and raised edge metal at all exisKng locaKons with a 22 gauge galvanized conKnuous cleat metal. Fasten all clad flashings at 3" on center staggered. 17. Install new 24 gauge pre-finished coping with 22 gauge cleat at all perimeter walls and where exisKng slope to the interior. 18. Install new 24 gauge galvanized sheet metal skirt flashing at all HVAC and roof curbs. 19. Install yellow "Gas Line" sKckers on all gas lines running across the roof a minimum of 12' apart. ified School District 20. Remove all condensate lines and from the hvac units AFTER THE TRAP and save for re-installaKon. Use pvc or water hose to protect the building from condensaKon during the course of re-roofing. When complete with the roofing re-install all condensate lines and properly support each line. 21. Include in the total bid price to pressure wash the roof when complete and prior to the final inspecKon. All roof drains shall be inspected to be free and clear prior to the job start as any that are not free flowing and clear at the end of the project will be the responsibility of the roofing contractor to properly address. 22. The project will include the installaKon of new roof drains at all locaKons. This scope of work will be contracted by the district directly and the roofing contractor shall coordinate operaKons directly with the plumbing contractor through the course of the project. The Contractor and all Subcontractors under the Contractor shall pay all workers on all Work performed pursuant to this Contract not less than the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work as determined by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations, State of California, for the type of work performed and the locality in which the work is to be performed within the boundaries of the District, pursuant to section 1770 et seq. of the California Labor Code. A bid bond by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District a cashier's check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the Los Banos Unified School District, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, shall accompany the Bid Form and Proposal, as a guarantee that the Bidder will, within seven (7) calendar days after the date of the Notice of Award, enter into a contract with the District for the performance of the services as stipulated in the bid. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if it is awarded the Contract for the Work.The successful Bidder may substitute securities for any monies withheld by the District to ensure performance under the Contract, in accordance with the provisions of section 22300 of the Public Contract Code. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. If the District awards the Contract, the security of unsuccessful bidder(s) shall be returned within sixty (60) days from the time the award is made.
