This BOA contract will primarily support projects related to wastewater collection and conveyance but may also be used for wastewater management and treatment projects and stormwater management projects as needed. The scope of work may include, but is not limited to: 1. Emergency response 2. General support, training, and studies 3. Condition assessment, asset management, and protection 4. Planning, design, and construction services (including administration, management, and inspection) for new and/or rehabilitated facilities 5. Operation support, controls, and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems 6. Hydraulic modeling and simulation 7. Value Engineering 8. Public outreach and support services 9. Regulatory compliance inspections 10. Permitting at the federal, state, and local levels 11. Survey, utility location and designation, and geotechnical engineering 12. Cost estimation including construction costs and lifecycle operation and maintenance projections 13. Scheduling and constructability review 14. Sustainability and energy efficiency, and on Envision certification 15. Security assessment and planning related to facility design and rehabilitation. The County of Fairfax, Virginia, Department of Public Works and Environmental Services (DPWES) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from engineering firms to provide professional engineering services for planning, evaluation, design, and construction administration and management for new facilities and the rehabilitation or replacement of existing facilities within the Fairfax County Sewer System on a basic ordering agreement basis. These services will be requested and authorized on a task order basis. The initial agreement will be established for a 12-month contract term and may be renewed for up to three (3) additional 12-month periods at the County's option.
