Sealed bids are invited for 15kV Air-Insulated Dead-Front Pad-Mounted Switchgear as described in the technical specifications. Bids must be submitted on the Bid Proposal form in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the project title and bidder's name and address. Each bid must be accompanied by a surety bond, cashier's check, or certified check for five percent (5%) of the bid amount, payable to the City of Centralia. Bid security, except for the lowest bidder, will be returned upon execution of the contract with the successful bidder. Bids submitted for equipment manufactured in a country with a United States Travel Warning will be considered non-responsive. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities, and to accept any bid deemed to be in the city's best interest.
