The scope of work under Alternate Bid will consist of demolition of existing curb and lawn area to construct a full depth pavement section and curbing within the Borough DPW Yard located at 20 Richmond Street, within the Borough of Lodi Sealed bids are sought for the DPW Yard Lot Improvements project at Lodi Borough Hall, 1 Memorial Drive, Lodi, New Jersey. Drawings, specifications, forms of bid, contract, and bond for the proposed work are available for examination at the engineer's office and can be obtained upon request for a fee. Bids must be submitted on the Standard Proposal Forms provided, in sealed envelopes showing the name and address of the bidder along with the project name. Each bid must include a non-collusion affidavit, and a certified check or bid bond for at least 10% of the bid amount, not exceeding $20,000 nor less than $500, along with a consent of surety for the full amount of the bid from an authorized surety company. Bids should be delivered prior to the designated opening date and time. Compliance with Affirmative Action requirements, Equal Opportunity, local public contracts law, and Business Registration proof is required. All contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and submit business registration proof. The contract requires adherence to prevailing wage rates.
