Municipality of Norristown is seeking proposals from qualified contractorsfor the Marshall & MarkleyStreet - Camera InstallationProject, which involves the installation and integration of surveillance systems at designated site. The Municipality of Norristown, Montgomery County, PA, invites proposals from qualified contractors for the installation of a multihead surveillance camera with PTZ capability at the intersection of Marshall Street & Markley Street. Question Deadline 10/10/2025 at 4:00 PM ET - Questions must be submitted through the PennBid "Questions" tab by the deadline listed in the portal. All clarifications and addenda will be posted on online. Project Scope of Work The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for a fully functional installation at the Marshall & Markley intersection, including but not limited to: Surveillance Camera o One (1) Hanwha multihead camera with integrated PTZ. o Weatherproof, vandal-resistant, capable of providing 360 coverage. o Two (2) 512GB SD cards for redundant edge recording. Mounting & Aerial Work o Pole-mounting hardware, aerial wire extension, and any necessary junction boxes. o Bucket truck/lift services for elevated work. o Secure wiring to existing pole infrastructure. Networking & Integration o Connection to existing Proxim radios and switch already present at the intersection. o Full integration into the Municipality's Genetec Security Center VMS, including configuration of video streams, PTZ functions, and user access. Licensing o One (1) Genetec Security Center connection license. o One (1) Genetec Advantage support license (1-year minimum). Testing & Commissioning o Optimize camera field of view and PTZ calibration. o Conduct system testing with municipal IT and Police Department representatives. o Provide final acceptance demonstration. Documentation o Submit as-built documentation including: camera model/serial, configuration details, IP addressing, and warranty information. o Provide basic staff orientation on the new camera and any feature differences (staff already use Genetec).
