Renovation of a fire / police facility in Garden City, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

Garden City Police Department Bathrooms Scope of Work: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, supervision, testing, inspection and whatever else is necessary, whether described or not, in order to renovate the bathrooms on the first floor of the Garden City Police Department (GCPD). The Contractor shall remove the existing toilets, urinals, partitions, sinks, soap dispenser, paper towel dispenser, and mirrors in the first-floor bathroom. The contractor shall prep the existing floor for the new epoxy flooring. The Contractor shall demolish and remove all existing fixtures, components, equipment, materials, plumbing, electrical and any other item necessary in the existing bathroom as shown on the demolition plans. The Contractor shall demo and remove existing CMU walls noted on the plans. Any wires or devices that are in use shall be relocated to the existing panels in the new electrical closet. The Contractor is responsible to furnish and install all items for electrical supply, plumbing supply, sanitary lines, ventilation ductwork, epoxy flooring, new walls, plumbing fixtures, floor drains, light fixtures, new door and frame, equipment, and accessories to renovate the GCPD bathrooms as shown on the plans and as described in the specifications. The Village is under no obligation to respond to any question, inquiry or assertion that is not received in writing. All questions regarding this bid shall be submitted by e-mail and, if deemed necessary will be clarified by addendum issued to all respondents. No questions will be answered verbally. E-mails shall be sent to the attention of the Contact Person listed above. The Village may share any questions and responses with all parties known to be in receipt of this bid package. The Village is under no obligation to respond to any question within 24 hours of the bid due date. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL FURNISH ALL LABOR, MATERIAL, EQUIPMENT, SUPERVISION, TESTING, INSPECTION AND WHATEVER ELSE IS NECESSARY, WHETHER DESCRIBED OR NOT, IN ORDER TO RENOVATE THE BATHROOMS ON THE FIRST FLOOR OF THE GARDEN CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT (GCPD). THE CONTRACTOR SHALL REMOVE THE EXISTING TOILETS, URINALS, PARTITIONS, SINKS, SOAP DISPENSER, PAPER TOWEL DISPENSER, AND MIRRORS IN THE FIRST-FLOOR BATHROOM. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PREP THE EXISTING FLOOR FOR THE NEW EPOXY FLOORING. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL DEMOLISH AND REMOVE ALL EXISTING FIXTURES, COMPONENTS, EQUIPMENT, MATERIALS, PLUMBING, ELECTRICAL AND ANY OTHER ITEM NECESSARY IN THE EXISTING BATHROOM AS SHOWN ON THE DEMOLITION PLANS. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL DEMO AND REMOVE EXISTING CMU WALLS NOTED ON THE PLANS. THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE TO FURNISH AND INSTALL ALL ITEMS FOR ELECTRICAL SUPPLY, PLUMBING SUPPLY, SANITARY LINES, VENTILATION DUCTWORK, EPOXY FLOORING, NEW WALLS, PLUMBING FIXTURES, FLOOR DRAINS, LIGHT FIXTURES, NEW DOOR AND FRAME, EQUIPMENT, AND ACCESSORIES TO RENOVATE THE GCPD BATHROOMS AS SHOWN ON THE PLANS AND AS DESCRIBED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS.
