Municipality of Norristown is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for the Installation of License Plate Reader (LPR) System - Lafayette & Ford Street Intersection. Question Deadline 10/10/2025 at 4:00 PM ET All questions must be submitted through online Project Scope of Work The selected contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, services, and permits necessary for the complete installation of an LPR system at the intersection of Lafayette Street & Ford Street -- 4 LPRs System Requirements:- Capture license plates accurately in both day and night conditions. Provide integrated infrared (IR) illumination to ensure plate readability under low-light and high-speed conditions. Include a processor housed in the traffic control cabinet, configured to manage connected cameras and securely transmit data. Support secure broadband (cellular or fiber) networking for data transfer. Provide real-time hotlist alerting (NCIC, PennDOT, state/local lists). Include vehicle make, model, and color recognition during daytime captures. Ensure CJIS-compliant data storage and access. Provide secure cloud-based or standalone access for authorized Norristown Police Department personnel. Include warranties, training for staff, and ongoing maintenance support. Installation Expectations Contractor shall supply and install all cabling, mounts, and brackets as required. Contractor is responsible for system configuration, integration, and testing.
