The Corporation of the City of London (the City) is acting in it's capacity as the administering municipality on behalf of, and under the direction of, the Board of Management for the Lake Huron Primary Water Supply System (hereinafter referred to as LHPWSS, the Board, or the Owner). Any reference to the City in this or related documents refers to the City in its acting capacity only. LHPWSS is issuing this Request for Pre-Qualification (RFPQ) to solicit responses from interested, qualified, General Contractor construction companies who have the minimum level of experience and competency required to successfully undertake the replacement of a portion of the plant drain piping at the Lake Huron Water Treatment Plant (WTP), located at 71155 Bluewater Highway, in the Municipality of South Huron, Huron County, Ontario. This is the first of a two-stage process. Only Successful Respondents, identified through this RFPQ process, will be able to complete the drain relocation work through either: - Request for Tender (RFT) stage for the drain relocation; or - Listed as a prequalified subcontractor for the drain relocation work in the Request for Tender (RFT), issued to previously prequalified General Contractors, for the new administration building construction, that will include the drain relocation.
