Question Acceptance Deadline - 2025/10/24 03:00:00 PM EDT The GTAA requires a Contractor to provide services related to the cleaning of the Stormwater Management Facilities (Moore's Creek, Carlingview, Aeroquay and Etobicoke Creek) at Toronto Pearson International Airport. The Contractor shall perform the work on an annual basis during the period of July to September each year. Based on previous years' experience, the work normally takes an estimated 5 to 6 weeks to complete. The work includes but is not limited to: 1. Clean all areas to bare concrete, including the main cells/tanks in each facility, oil/water separators, and filter media. 2. Pump out all sludge and dispose of at the GTAA Soil Remediation Facility. 3. Pump out oil & dispose off-site according to appropriate legislation. 4. Arrange for an inspection of the crane in each Facility (Moore's and Carlingview facilities only). 5. Remove all filter media and coalescent plates using the onsite crane and power wash them replacing any damaged units with the replacement parts on hand. 6. Provide site supervision of employees and subcontractors on a continuous basis while the work is being performed. 7. Report all facility deficiencies and/or the need for additional work to GTAA Manager or designate and Environment representative. 8. Schedule and coordinate facility closures with GTAA Environment. 9. Report daily on work progress to GTAA Manager or designate and Environment representative. 10. Provide a final report of all work conducted including the number of truck loads disposed to estimate volume of sludge removed. The quoted price will include travel time to or from site for any resource or equipment, supervision, labour tools & equipment, security, haulage and dumping/disposal fees and all other costs related to the performance of services.
