Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Akhiok, Alaska. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Reconstruct approximately one mile of Otmeloi Way in Kodiak and approximately 530 feet of Mallard Way. Road improvements will include grading, drainage, paving, and construction of pedestrian facilities. Realignment and lighting as needed. Upon completion, ownership and maintenance responsibility for Otmeloi Way and associated facilities will be transferred to the Kodiak Island Borough. Work Type : Pavement Rehabilitation As of October 08, 2025, the project is in Conceptual status. Anticipated letting Year is 2026. AKDOT - Otmeloi Way Rehabilitation [CTP Award 2019] *Project information has been obtained through a public state transportation improvement plan (STIP). A STIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the STIP often evolves based on funding availability.
