The Princeton Water and Wastewater Commission (PWWC) currently has four existing filter control consoles at the Water Treatment Plant that are planned for replacement and upgrades. The PWWC seeks to replace and upgrade the existing filter consoles and to utilize Programmable Controllers (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) for the primary control's operator interface. Scope of Work: The work to be accomplished shall consist of four new filter control consoles. The new filter control consoles shall be of similar construction to the existing fiberglass consoles. The new consoles shall be provided with the same footprint for direct replacement of the existing consoles. The new console's general shape, size, and height shall remain the same, with modifications allowed to accommodate new HMI component mounting. The new consoles shall be fully assembled and include all new components to accommodate existing functions and support improvements of PLC/HMI component installation and interface. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Princeton Water and Wastewater Commission in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date bids are opened. He may, however, withdraw his bid at any time before the time and date scheduled for the opening of the same or any authorized postponement thereof. Any bid received after the time and date specified will not be considered and will be returned unopened to the bidder.
