The Deerfield Bannockburn Fire Protection District is requesting sealed bids from all qualified bidders desiring to provide the district with landscape design and build services. Bid specifications may be obtained at the headquarters fire station, 500 Waukegan Road, Deerfield, IL 60015, or on the District's website www.deerfieldbannockbunrfire.org. All bids must be submitted in writing and delivered in sealed envelopes. The landscape services to be provided for the East side of the fire station, between the southern driveway and the north property line, area and shall include but not be limited to the following: Removal of overgrown and/or legacy shrubs and plantings. Provide grading with fill where needed. Provide recommendation of trees and shrubs that are drought tolerant and low maintenance. The trees and shrubs should be fast growing and provide a natural visually pleasing contrast between the fire station structure, hardscape areas, and driveways/concrete apron. Provide detailed plans for the proposed planting. Coordinate with fire department administrator the finalization of design. Landscape work, upon final approval of design, to be collaborated with the fire district, but be completed and billed by April 31, 2026. Warranty and replace any failed (dead) plantings for 180 days after project completion.
