The scope of work involves the removal and replacement of the roof at City Hall, located at 313 Court Street in The Dalles, Oregon. All work must be conducted in accordance with the solicitation and contract documents. Bidders must submit bids on the forms furnished by the City of the Dalles for Project No. 2025-015 and include the bidder's signature. Specifications for the project are available for review at the office of the City Clerk at The Dalles City Hall and on the City's website. Any changes to the solicitation or contract documents will be issued by written addendum. Bidders are responsible for checking the City's website for addenda and additional information. Instructions to bidders state that it is the bidder's duty to ensure that all required bid documents are attached to the email submission. Immediately following electronic submission, bidders will receive confirmation of receipt. The City may reject any bid not in compliance with prescribed public contracting procedures and requirements and may reject any or all bids for good cause. The City reserves the right to waive any informality in the bids or postpone the award of the contract for up to 60 days. Each bid must include a statement as to whether the bidder is a resident bidder as defined by ORS 279A.120(1). No bid may be withdrawn after the time set for bid opening or before award of contract unless award is delayed for more than 60 days. The anticipated contract will be a public works agreement subject to prevailing wages as specified by statute.
