Renovation of a municipal facility in Santa Barbara, California. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Remove and replace existing rooftop gas package units with rooftop heat pump package units, upgrade existing controls with Honeywell Optimizer Controls, remove and replace existing condensate drains, remove existing gas lines, and address any electrical requirements to updated codes. Controls Programming will be provided separately by the County of Santa Barbara and should not be included in the project bid document. The CONTRACTOR shall possess either a Class A, B, or C-34 license. The COUNTY reserves the right to reject any and or all bids or waive any informality in a bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof. The COUNTY reserves the right to select any one or any combination of bids, whichever is in the best interest of the COUNTY. The successful CONTRACTOR (after receiving the Notice to Proceed) shall have 180 calendar days to complete all work called for under the Contract Documents. The liquidated damages will be $250 (Two Hundred Fifty Dollars) per day for project delays that are determined to be attributable to the CONTRACTOR.
