Site work for a water / sewer project in Cookeville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Question Deadline 10/23/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Document shall be submitted to the Engineer in writing. Questions received less than five (5) days prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered. This project consists of installing approximately 2,800 L.F of new 2 SDR-21 line, 1,270 LF of 6 SDR-21 line, and replacing approximately 46 meter sets. Sealed bids will be received by the City of Cookeville Department of Water Quality Control for the 2025 North Cookeville Waterline Project. The project consists of installing approximately 2,800 linear feet of new 2-inch SDR-21 line, 1,270 linear feet of 6-inch SDR-21 line, and replacing approximately 46 meter sets. Bids must be accompanied by a cashier's or bank check or Bid Guarantee Bond in an amount not less than five percent of the bid. An affidavit of a drug-free workplace is required. The successful bidder must provide Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of one hundred percent of the contract price. All bidders must be licensed contractors as required by Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 62, Chapter 6. The City reserves the right to waive irregularities or reject any or all bids as deemed in its best interest.
