The project consists of qualified contractors to implement a one-time maintenance of the listed stormwater detention facilities that includes maintaining slopes, opening of inlets and outlets, removal of excess sediment, and ensuring functionality of these 5 stormwater detention facilities for a one-time service. The complete examination and understanding of the scope of work, facility locations, and specified maintenance needs of each site of the proposed work is necessary in order for the bidder to properly submit a proposal. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and parts of any bid, and to waive formalities and technicalities. Bids will be required to remain open for acceptance or rejection for thirty (30) calendar days after the date of opening the bids. The City of North Augusta, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color or national origin in consideration for an award.
