Reference Number 0000400804 25 mi S of Carbondale on SH-133, milepost 43.5 Pitkin County Open Space and Trails is soliciting interest from qualified Contractors for the Redstone to McClure Pass Trail Underpass Project. The proposed new trail underpass is located 25 miles south of Carbondale on SH-133 at mile post 43.5, approximately 0.5 below the summit of McClure Pass at an elevation of 8,500 feet. Pitkin County intends to advertise this project this winter after the required approvals from CDOT and the US Forest Service are obtained. Construction is anticipated to occur during 2026. Question Deadline 10/22/2025 at 5:00 PM MT Questions are submitted online No The purpose of the Project Showing is to provide interested parties with the opportunity to visit the site and discuss the project with the design team prior to winter conditions. Attendance is optional and will not be a requirement for bidding the project. Please submit your RSVP and planned attendance to Procurement@PitkinCounty.com prior to the date of the pre-ad site visit.
