Site work and paving for a road / highway in Bermuda Run, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway.
The scope of work consists of furnishing all materials, machinery, implements, appliances, tools, labor, and other means of construction to perform and complete the contract for drainage improvements in Bermuda Run, Davie County. The work will be carried out in accordance with the 2024 Standard Specifications for Roads and Structures, project special provisions, the engineer's requirements, and the proposal, plans, and specifications prepared by the Town. The contract involves grading, drainage, paving, and sidewalk work as described for the location on Riverbend Drive, Town of Bermuda Run. Quantities provided are approximate and can be increased or decreased as the Town deems necessary. Bidders are instructed to comply with all applicable laws regulating general contracting, electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration contracting under Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes. A bid bond is required, and the bidder must provide the necessary contract payment and performance bonds within fourteen days after receiving written notice of award. All work must be in accordance with the referenced specifications and under the direction of the engineer. The contract will only be valid once signed by the Mayor or a designated signatory for the Town. Any amendments or supplements to the contract must also be signed by the appropriate contract officer or division engineer.
