Juvenile Justice Center Housing Unit Safety Barriers (jjc Safety Barriers) Estimated Award Date 12/15/2025 The Project consists of: The fabrication and installation of new safety barriers on second-floor walkways and stairways within the Juvenile Justice Center housing units to prevent accidental falls. Work involves guardrails, handrails, and protective panels; modifications to existing structures; surface preparation and finishing; and coordination with facility staff to maintain security and minimize operational disruption. All work shall comply with the design documents by AE3 Partners and applicable codes and safety standards. This project will be bid on as a single contract covering all six (6) units. Each unit has a distinct layout, with a corresponding barrier design illustrated in the AE3 drawings as a prototype. Bidders are responsible for furnishing and installing barriers for all six (6) units in full compliance with the drawings and specifications. Field verification of all unit conditions is required.
